Singer Madonna expressed deep remorse over turning down big roles as she sat for a candid conversation with a host.
In an appearance at Jimmy Fallon’s show, The Tonight Show this week the singer opened up on her regrets.
Madonna was offered the role of Catwoman in the film Batman Returns which was later replaced by Michelle Pfeiffer .
In talks with the host, regarding her Catwoman role the La Isla Bonita singer said, “I saw them both and I regret that I turned down Catwoman, that was pretty fierce.”
“ I was also offered Showgirls but I did not regret turning it down in retrospect.”
Also snubbing an iconic role in the Keanu Reeves starrer The Matrix was her biggest mistake, “Can you believe that? That’s like one of the best movies ever made. A teeny-tiny part of me regrets just that one moment in my life.”
