‘The Crown’: Sarah Ferguson considers her character left wanting in Netflix venture

The Duchess Sarah Ferguson opened up about how her character was not done justice to in the Netflix series The Crown and penned a piece of advice to the makers.

Sarah Ferguson was disheartened as her character was not as heavily portrayed in the show as it could have been.

In a chat with Town and Country, Ferguson said, “Hello? Where is Fergie?”

Sarah Ferguson called out the executive producer via email and stated, “I said to him, ‘Why can’t I help my character?’”

For those unversed, Sarah Ferguson is the ex-wife of Prince Andrew and a mom to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Her split with Prince Andrew stripped her off the title of ‘royal highness’ but kept the label of the Duchess of York alive.

Apart from this, Ferguson related that she was not a part of Prince William’s and Catherine’s wedding in 2011. Regarding this Ferguson said, “I didn’t think I was probably worthy to go to their wedding. I took myself to Thailand, actually, to be far away from it so that I could try and heal.”
