Matt Damon jokingly wishes 'nothing but hardship' on BFF Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez romance

Hollywood star Matt Damon is all happy for his pal Ben Affleck for his rekindled romance with actress Jennifer Lopez. However, the Bourne series star never misses out on any opportunity of having fun trolling Ben and Lopez.

The Still Water actor, 50, recently marked his appearance on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show on Tuesday, where he was asked about his longtime friend Affleck and the actor's reignited romance with Lopez.

The host Cagle teased the actor that he is very happy for the couple dating again. "I know you love getting asked about that."

The Martian star replied, "Right. But how else would I be? Like, would I be unhappy? Like, 'I hate true love.' " The actor continued, joking, "It sucks. Yeah. Yeah. I wish them nothing, but you know, hardship."

Earlier this week, the Ford vs Ferrari actor appeared on Extra for the promotions of his upcoming film where he said he was "just so happy" for Affleck.

"He's the best. He deserves every happiness in the world," Damon said of Affleck's relationship with Lopez. "I'm glad for both of them."
