Shakira drops music video of her new single 'Don't Wait Up'

Popular Columbian singer Shakira has finally released the much-awaited music video of her latest song Don't Wait Up on Friday.

Leaving her millions of fans excited, the Hips Don’t Lie singer shared the liberating, up-tempo anthem for the summer two days after she teased it on her social media.

Thousands of people watched the video on YouTube within an hour after it was shared on YouTube.

While posting the link to her video on Twitter, the Waka Waka singer also shared her experience of shooting the music video.

“The Don’t Wait Up video was so much fun to shoot, dancing and surfing all night long! Thanks to all those who worked so hard made it happen. I hope you guys enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it!," she wrote on Twitter.

Don’t Wait Up has been written by Ian Kirkpatrick and Emily Warren. The song’s video, which has been directed by Warren Fu, was shot in Tenerife, Spain.
