Ed Sheeran fashions fangs in 'Bad Habits' MV: 'Feels Great to Be Back'

Popstar Ed Sheeran fashioned fangs and the retro-vampire look for his latest music video.

 As soon as the clock struck 12 at midnight on Friday, Ed Sheeran released his new song Bad Habit, in which the 4 times Grammy Award winner is seen showing his alter ego form.

The Thinking Out Loud hitmaker took a sharp turn from his usual style and took a darker approach with his new music. In the video, he has opted for a lighter, blonder hair color than his usual signature ginger hair. Sheeran is also baring fangs to play the character of a vampire, which is to exhibit the metaphor for our personal vices.

In a press statement, Sheeran said, "Feels great to be back with my new single. I wanted the video for 'Bad Habits' to play on the nature of habits in a fantastical way so I decided on vampires.”

“It was mega fun getting into character except for the heights (that wasn't so fun). Enjoy x,” he added.

The music video for Bad Habit is directed by Dave Meyers. This new single will mark Sheeran's first official song release since 2019 when he was nominated for Grammy awards for his No.6 Collaborations Project album.
