Arnold Schwarzenegger detailed how his family was against his move from acting to politics, as he became the 38th governor of California.

His governorship lasted for two terms, from 2003 till 2011. He has four children, named Katherine, Patrick, Christopher and Christina.

Fox News reported his 34-minute interview on daughter Katherine’s Instagram show, Before, During and After Baby, a grand finale of Father’s Day Week, Arnold said, "First of all, I think it is very important to let everyone know how much you kids hated my job. It was one of those kind of odd things where I just thought that: 'Oh, my kids will be so proud of me being governor now. And all this stuff, but I don't think that you guys really kind of connected with that. I think you were so used to what we were doing when I was on a movie set.”

The 73-year-old actor said his children preferred him more as an actor, performing on screen and shooting on sets.

Arnold continued, "This was your entertainment. So, when you think about after-school programmes, you guys had like the perfect after-school programme."

His children did not like the politics of California but Arnold had a solid reason behind his transition from a Hollywood actor to a politician. He revealed, “I had this fixation about fixing the state and making the state better. And so that's why I ran from one moment to the other when there was a recall."

According to some sources Arnold also has another son Joseph Baena from a former housekeeper, Mildred Patricia Baena.
