Taryn Manning is engaged to Anne Cline: 'It was the easiest YES I ever said!'

Tis' the season of love. After Frankie Grande and Hale Leon, and Sierra Deaton and Luke Hemmings— now Taryn Manning and Anne Cline got engaged.

Actress Taryn Manning said yes to the musician Anne Cline, who proposed the Orange Is the New Black actress in an old-school-grand-gesture way by asking the big question during her performance.

The proposal took place at a restaurant in Panama City in Florida on June 1, when Anne was performing on a stage and paused to ask Taryn to marry her on a microphone. The songwriter then jumped from the stage to get on her knee in front of her soulmate, who appeared to be overwhelmed by the surprise.

Taryn said yes! She told TMZ, “it was the easiest yes I’ve ever said.”

In 2017, during an interview, the 42-year-old actress confirmed that she does not identify as gay. She said, “I'm not gay, meaning I love men. I love gay people. I've experimented. It's good. I just prefer men."

However, the newly-engaged couple has reportedly been dating for a while. The two kept their relationship under covers for a long until pictures of them walking their dogs surfaced at the beginning of 2021. Neither Taryn nor Anne has issued any statements about their engagement yet.
