Lindsey Buckingham’s wife Kristen Messner files for divorce

US singer and songwriter Lindsey Buckingham and wife Kristen Messner have split up after 21 years of their marriage.

The Pagesix quoting TMZ reported that Kristen Messner has filed for divorce in Los Angeles.

Kristen and Lindsey got married in 2000 and share three children.

The 71-year-old musician is currently on promotional spree of his new album, I Don’t Mind, and a 2021 tour.

He tweeted on Tuesday, “My new self-titled album is one I’ve been intending to get out for a couple of years now, but on more than one occasion, unforeseen circumstances necessitated a postponement of plans. Now that we’re back in gear, I’m thrilled to finally be sharing new music with my listeners!”

He further said “I Don’t Mind,” the first single off the new self-titled album, out 9/17, is available now.
