It's Official! Friends Reunion to be Aired on HBO Max May 27

Friends fans, rejoice!

The show that has been ruling the hearts of millions for over a decade, is back with a bang.

Ever since the iconic show ended in 2004, die-hard fans of Friends have been demanding a reunion. It was not until last year when the makers finally announced a special scripted episode where the six Friends gather in one frame.

Now, after a long wait for another year, the cast has taken to their Instagram handles, officially announcing the release date of their much-anticipated special episode on HBO Max.

"It’s official! The #FriendsReunion premieres May 27th on @HBOMax — could we BE any more excited?!," wrote Jennifer Aniston on her Instagram.

"This kind of thing doesn’t happen every year, or even every 10, or 15 years. I feel so blessed to have had a chance to reunite with my Friends... and it was better than ever," captioned Courteney Cox alongside the announcement video.

Matt LeBlanc, who plays Joey Tribbiani in the show, also took to his Instagram saying,"So great to see you everyone. #friendsreunion May27th."

Fan-favorite Matthew Perry aka Chandler Bing also expressed his excitement as he wrote, "We’re back! The #FriendsReunion premieres May 27th on @HBOMax. What are you the most excited about?" while David Schwimmer quipped, "Finally! Had a blast with the cast and a solid nap with LeBlanc.The #friendsreunion premieres May 27th on @hbomax."
