Mark Ruffalo calls for sanctions on Israel to free Palestine

Several showbiz personalities have spoke up against the recent Israeli attacks on the Palestinians. Recently, Hollywood actor Mark Ruffalo has come up and called for imposing sanctions on Israel to free Palestinians.

The Hulk actor condemned the killings of innocent Palestinians in Israeli attacks in his latest tweet. He shared a link to an online petition in his tweet in the wake of Israel’s recent aggression in Palestine and called for sanctions similar to those imposed during the genocidal riots in South Africa.

The Avengers star said "1500 Palestinians face expulsion in #Jerusalem. 200 protesters have been injured. 9 children have been killed.”

He asked his more than seven million followers to join the call. “Sanctions on South Africa helped free its black people - it’s time for sanctions on Israel to free Palestinians. Join the call. #SheikhJarrah,” he wrote.

American-Palestinian supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid also expressed distress over the world’s silence on Israeli atrocities.
