Singer Lizzo opened up about her mental health and feeling of loneliness, explaining she feels like a “burden on everyone.”

The three-time Grammy Award winner took to her Tiktok during an emotional episode to share a video in which she broke down and talked about the mental space she was in. The Truth Hurts singer confessed that all she wants is to "feel loved."

"You know that part of sadness where you feel like a burden on everyone and annoying and nobody cares about you? Can we get rid of that part? It's like, yo, I'm already sad. Could it add insult to injury that I have no one to talk to about it?"

"I don't want to feel this way anymore. I want to feel like I do have someone to talk to, people do care about me. I have love. I'm not alone. That's what I want to feel, but I don't feel like that,” she added.

The 33-year-old singer received a plethora of virtual support after this to remind her that she is loved. Lizzo returned back after a few hours to assure her fans that she is “doing way better.”

"I had a really rough night and a very emotional morning just thinking about my relationships and life. You know how it is. It gets dark," she explained. "I'm definitely glad I reached out in any way I could and TikTok was one of those ways. To feel received and seen and heard really, really helped me. I'm not crying anymore."

Lizzo ensured the fans who feel this way that they are not alone or unseen. She later shared that she understands why she feels that way sometimes despite having some great support system and said:

"I think when people get sad we often forget that and we can lose sight of that."
