Katy Perry celebrates first-ever Mother's Day with newborn daughter Daisy Dove

Singer Katy Perry celebrated her first Mother’s Day ever with daughter Daisy Dove, whom she shares with her fiancé Orlando Bloom.

The Firework singer welcomed her first baby girl in August last year, and it has quite literally changed her life around. On this year’s Mother’s Day, Katy talked about feeling complete after joining the “mama club.”

The 36-year-old singer took to her Twitter to share her heart full of love and gratitude with the fans and wrote:

"I found everything I was ever searching for when I became a mother (Sic),” she began writing about her newborn.

“So grateful for that profound, deep love and honoured to join the mama club. Happiest Mother's Day.”

Katy’s beau Orlando Bloom is also equally in love with his daughter. The 44-year-old actor took to his Instagram to pay a beautiful homage to the mother of his child and posted a photoshopped image of Katy looking like a mermaid.

"Got myself a real catch," he wrote in the caption. “Sending love and respect to all the amazing people who have shaped our lives, supported us and loved us unconditionally. Happy Mother's Day."

Last month, while talking to Bloom’s ex-wife Miranda Kerr, Katy gushed about her daughter Daisy and said it is the “best decision I ever made in my entire life.” She further said:

"The love from your children is constant and unconditional and isn't based on what you have, what you don't have, what career, what product and that's definitely made me feel so full to know that there's this unwavering and unconditional love.”
