Hoda Kotb reveals who will be her maid-of-honor on wedding day

Hoda Kotb revealed who will be playing one of the most important roles on her wedding day with fiancé Joel Schiffman.

The 56-year-old bride-to-be, in conversation with social contributor Donna Farizan on TODAY, gushed about the inside details of her long-awaited wedding that has been postponed twice already amid pandemic. When the American Broadcaster was asked who her maid-of-honour will be, she had the answer ready.

"Yes, I would have a maid of honour. It will be Hala, my sister," Hoda shared.

Hoda also touched upon how difficult it is to plan a wedding during an ongoing pandemic. The journalist announced her engagement with Schiffman in 2019, and ever since then, the couple has been trying to find a date that works.

"You know what's weird is you plan something and you had it all in stone and then everything got uprooted and now we're planning it again and there's something weird. We're like 'We're doing it. Should we just do it this summer? Should we wait?' We don't know," she said.

Hoda was supposed to say “I do” to beau in November last but when the wedding was pushed forward indefinitely, she divulged that as excited as she is for her future, she is also super content with her present life with her fiance and two daughters.

"I'm going to be really happy to get married, and I'm also perfectly fine right now as we nest and do our things," she added.
