Reason Prince Harry and Prince William stood apart during Prince Philip's funeral

Prince William and Prince Harry put their rift aside this Saturday when the royals joined together to say their final goodbye to Prince Philip.

While the children and grandchildren carried the coffin of their beloved Duke of Edinburgh and put him to rest, many viewers could not help but point out that brothers Prince Harry and William did not stand side by side. They were separated by cousin Mark Philip in between them.

However, according to Buckingham Palace, the arrangement has come after discussing the 'practical' discussions, not political.

“These are practical changes rather than sending a signal. This is a funeral, and we are not going to be drawn into perceptions of drama. The arrangements have been agreed and represent Her Majesty’s wishes as well as the personal wishes of The Duke,” the Palace told the portal.
