Céline Dion celebrated her 53rd birthday by eating lots of cake.
Grammy-Award-winning singer Céline Dion turned 53 on March, 30th. The songstress was determined to celebrate her birthday with zeal and zest after a hard year— all thanks to the pandemic. My heart Will Go On singer posted two pictures from a release party for her 1996 Billboard 200 chart-topper Falling Into You, in which she’s slicing into a huge cake with a hilarious caption that read:
“I’m not counting the years, but I’m still eating cake for sure!”
In the latter half of her caption, Céline went on to thank all of her fans who poured in wishes from all parts of the world. She ended the post with:
“Thanks for all the birthday wishes! - Céline xx”
Céline seemed to be well-rested after being forced to take a sabbatical due to the COvid-19 lockdown. While talking to ELLE CANADA, she admitted to being more relaxed and focused on her well-being.
"Because of COVID-19, we’ve had to reschedule all our tour dates, like everyone else,” she went on. “So I decided to enjoy time with the family for an extended period… something I’ve never done before, and it’s been wonderful.”
On the work front, Céline Dion is making a debut in her upcoming movie Text For You, alongside Priyanka Chopra and Sam Heughan. I’m Alive singer is also set on resuming her Courage tour.
