Priyanka Chopra-Jonas becomes the first Indian to announce 2021 Oscars nominations

The time of the year has come when the biggest awards and the most prestigious honors will be given to the best of the entertainment of the year as the nominations of the 93rd Academy Awards were announced on Monday.

While this year’s nominations are record-breaking and historic in various ways for artists like Viola Davis, Chloe Zhao, Riz Ahmed and many more. The nominations presentation was no less than surprising and exciting as the most stunning couple of the entertainment town, superstars Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas announced the nominees in a stunning live presentation.

This led the global icon and popular Desi Girl Priyanka to another achievement as she becomes the first Indian to announce the nominations in the history of Oscars. It won’t be extra to say for Priyanka that she came, she saw and she conquered the world of entertainment with her terrific acting and hard work.

The Quantico star looked striking in a blue outfit. While her husband and pop singer Jonas opted for the bright yellow suit. Apart from announcing the nominees, the Baywatch star expressed her excitement about her own film The White Tiger being nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Taking to social media, she wrote, "We just got nominated for an Oscar! Congratulations Ramin and team #TheWhiteTiger. Somehow announcing the nomination myself made it so much more special. So so proud."

She also shared another funny moment with her husband in which, the two can be seen posing with a large installation of the Oscar trophy, pretending to steal it. She tweeted, "My very own Oscar! It was so lovely to share this moment with you @nickjonas I love you. Catch the Oscars on April 25th! #OscarNoms."
