The wait is finally over! American actor and director John Krasinski has finally revealed the releasing date of his much-anticipated thriller A Quiet Place Part II. The much-awaited sequel will be coming to theatres sooner than fans expected May 28.

Writer and producer Krasinski announced the news on his Twitter handle. He wrote, "They say good things come to those who wait. Well... I think we've waited long enough. A QUIET PLACE PART II Memorial Day." He also posted a spooky photo of a flashing red lightbulb, alarming to get ready for the terrifying, thriller-packed film.

The film has previously been delayed several times due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Earlier this year, it was announced that the sequel to the 2018 hit starring Emily Blunt would be delayed to September 17. The movie was originally set to come out on March 20, 2020, and even had its premiere in New York City on March 8 before the COVID-19 crisis.

The previous part of the film released in 2018 starrer the real-life husband and wife duo Krasinski and Blunt in the lead role. The film was a box office hit. The trailer of the sequel has been released earlier in February 2020 and received a good response from the audience as well.
