David Schwimmer updates fans on Friends Reunion: 'It's happening'

Friends Reunion is just a few months away- it's confirmed!

Fan favorite David Schwimmer aka. Ross Geller from NBC's hit sitcom Friends says the reunion is finally happening.

Speaking to SiriusXM's Radio Andy Wednesday, Schwimmer revealed that he is all set to film the reunion that will begin a month from now.

"It's happening," the actor, 54, said. "Actually, in a little over a month I'm heading out to L.A."

The HBO Max special reunion, that was scheduled to film a bit earlier, came to a halt amid the coronavirus pandemic. Now that the situation is under control, the cast of Friends is planning to get back on set.

"So, finally, I mean, we figured out a way to film it safely and there's going to be a portion of it that we filmed outside because of, you know, for safety protocols," added Schwimmer.

Upon asking if Ellen DeGeneres will host the much-awaited reunion, the actor asked his fans to wait for the right time.

"I can tell you it's not Ellen, and it's not Billy Crystal," Schwimmer said. "I can tell you who it's not, but that'll take a while, probably."

All of six Friends; Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry, will be a part of the special reunion.
