Britney Spears' father also wants her conservatorship to end: Would 'Love Nothing More'

Jamie Spears wants the best for his popstar daughter, Britney.

Jamie, who was appointed Britney's conservator in 2019, hopes that his daughter becomes independent soon.

According to Vivian Lee Thoreen, lawyer of Jamie, every decision that the singer's father makes, is eventually for the best interest of his 39-year-old daughter.

"[Jamie] would love nothing more than to see Britney not need a conservatorship," Thoreen told CNN. "Whether or not there is an end to the conservatorship really depends on Britney. If she wants to end her conservatorship, she can file a petition to end it."

Although the father-daughter duo do not stand together in many opinions, Jamie according to his lawyer, always focuses on what is good for Britney in the long run.

"Jamie is not suggesting that he is the perfect dad or that he would receive any 'Father of the Year' award," she added. "Like any parent, he doesn't always see eye-to-eye on what Britney may want. But Jamie believes every single decision he has made has been in her best interest."
