Popular American singer and rapper Travis Scott has joined the list of stars who have been providing financial help to the people of Texas after being hit by the worst winter storm.
The Houston-based rapper has been helping his hometown residents with a free meal in the aftermath of historic winter storm. Scott's Cactus Jack Foundation teamed up with the City of Houston, as well as the Houston Health Foundation, and launched an emergency food program for the storm victims.
The emergency food program provides 50,000 hot meals to the citizens of Houston. As per the media reports, the foundation has been in coordination with The Black Service Chamber, The National Association of Christian Churches and restaurant owners to help and locate the most vulnerable groups of people in need of assistance.
The winter storm has taken up the entire state of Texas under the heavy snowfalls, leaving millions of residents without water, heat, electricity and food supplies for days under freezing temperature.
