Prince Harry praises Netflix show ‘The Crown,’ reveals who he’d like to play him on the show

The Netflix original produced series The Crown has become one of the most-watched, most liked and also, most controversial shows in recent times. While everyone has an opinion about the show and about the portrayal of Royals in the show, Prince Harry has come defending the show.

In an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, the royal Prince said that the show, based on his family doesn’t pretend to be fact. He also revealed which actor he’d like to see play him on the show.

The Duke of Sussex had a candid interview, taken on an open-top bus tour of Los Angeles, during which the host asked him about his thoughts on the Netflix hit series. "Of course, it’s not strictly accurate. It gives you a rough idea about what that lifestyle [looks like], what the pressures of putting duty and service above family and everything else ― what can come from that,” Harry said.

Harry and his brother, Prince William appeared as toddlers in the latest fourth season of the show. He was asked whom he'd like to see play him in future seasons, Harry replied, "Damian Lewis."

The Crown is based on the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, who has been portrayed by Claire Foy and Olivia Colman, in two seasons each. The show will reportedly air for two more seasons, with Imelda Staunton taking over the role of Queen Elizabeth from Olivia Colman. However, reports further said that Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle will not be featured on the show.
