Kim Kardashian gets emotional on late father Robert Sr's birthday:'have so much to tell you'

Kim Kardashian is celebrating her late father Robert Kardashian's birthday.

The 40-year-old makeup mogul, who recently made the headlines after ending six years of marriage with rapper Kanye West, wrote an emotional post for her dad on what would have been his 77th birthday.

Taking to her Instagram on Monday, Kim K penned:

"Happy Birthday Dad! I celebrate you every single day but today even more," Kim began the caption of her tribute post. "So much to tell you! I called your cell phone number just wondering if anyone would pick up after all these years. I actually can't believe I remembered it."

The KUWTK star also attached a picture of all the Kardashian siblings with dad Robert Kardashian from back in the days.

"Please come visit me in a dream soon," she added. "Also can you pretty please send down a sign in the form of those symbols/birds we always talked about?!?! I just miss you sooooo much!"

Robert Kardashian was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in July 2003. He died two months later, on September 30, 2003, at age 59.
