Princess Eugenie's son's name is sweet nod to grandfather Prince Philip

Princess Eugenie has revealed the name of her baby boy and it pays a special tribute to great grandfather Prince Philip.

Eugenie shared the name of her newborn child, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, with her fans on Instagram.

Born in the month of August, the baby is the first child of princess and husband Jack Brooksbank.

Taking to her Instagram, Eugenie disclosed the name of her child to 1.3 million followers as she wrote:

“Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can’t express,” Eugenie, 30, posted. “We are excited to be able to share these photos with you.⁣

Princess Eugenie, who got married in 2018, is the daughter of Prince Andrew.
