Kourtney Kardashian never thought friend Travis Barker will become her 'lover'

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker recently announced that they are in a relationship. However, a source revealed that the former never thought about dating her decade-long friend.

The source told PEOPLE, “She was single for a while and didn't expect that their relationship would turn romantic. She feels very fortunate. She loves spending time with Travis”.

A source close to the 41-year-old told that she is actually surprised by her relationship with Barker as she never imagined she would be dating him.

Moreover, an insider told said, “Kourtney and Travis have been spending a lot of time together, but they're taking their time and trying not to move too fast. No one is surprised by their relationship”.

“They have big modern families [and they] both are dedicated to their kids. They come from these modern families with modern relationships” the source added.

“Both of their families are supportive. It's still very new, but they are both very excited by how easy it all has been,” it further said.
