Netflix’s 'Bridgerton' confirms season 2

Popular show on Netflix, Bridgerton is coming with another season. The show’s creators have recently come forward with confirmed news to renew the show on fans’ demands.

After receiving immense praise and positive response from the fans and critics, the producers of the period drama show have decided to continue the tale of interesting gossips from Lady Whistledown’s society papers.

The news was broken by the show’s executive producer Shonda Rhimes. She announced the news on Friday, on her Instagram account, via Lady Whistledown’s society papers and wrote, "The ton are abuzz with the latest gossip, and so it is my honor to impart to you: Bridgerton shall return for a second season. I do hope you have stored a bottle of ratafia for this most delightful occasion."

"This author has been reliably informed that Lord Anthony Bridgerton intends to dominate the social season. I will have my pen ready to report on any and all of his romantic activities," she added.

The last paragraph reads, “Gentle reader, before you set the comments section alight with requests for more sordid details, know that I am disinclined to report on the particulars at this time. Patience, after all, is a virtue.”

Romantic period drama Bridgerton stars Phoebe Dynevor and Rege-Jean Page in the lead characters. The streaming platform Netflix has also announced on Thursday the second season of the show is ready to hit the screens once again. The streaming platform shared clips from the first season captioned, “Second season is coming.”
