Lady Gaga expresses her hope for peace, love during President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration

US singer and dancer Lady Gaga has expressed hope for love and peace during President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration ceremony on Thursday, January 20, 2021.

The Rain On Me singer, who is set to perform the US national anthem at the inauguration ceremony, turned to social media and posted her picture from inside the Capitol building with a heartfelt caption.

She wrote, “I pray tomorrow will be a day of peace for all Americans.”

“A day for love, not hatred. A day for acceptance not fear. A day for dreaming of our future joy as a country. A dream that is non-violent, a dream that provides safety for our souls.”

Lady Gaga further wrote, “Love, from the Capitol” followed by US flag.
