Lady Gaga wishes for 'a day of peace' ahead of Joe Biden's inauguration

Lady Gaga cannot wait for Joe Biden's inauguration speech on Wednesday.

The 34-year-old singer, who has been honored with the opportunity to sing the national anthem on the big day, has penned a hopeful note ahead of her performance.

"I pray tomorrow will be a day of peace for all Americans. A day for love, not hatred. A day for acceptance not fear," she wrote, captioning a photo of herself wearing an all-white ensemble in the Capitol rotunda.

"A day for dreaming of our future joy as a country. A dream that is non-violent, a dream that provides safety for our souls," she continued. "Love, from the Capitol US."

This is not the first time Lady Gaga has supported Biden. The singer has been pro president-elect since his campaigns. Pledging support to her 'cool Pennsylvania guy' Lady Gaga also performed for him in the state.

"Something, something about my cool Pennsylvania guy," she sang, shifting the lyrics of her track "Yoü and I." "There's something about, Joe, you and I."
