Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez to perform in Biden-Harris inauguration ceremony

Global icons Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez will be performing in the inauguration ceremony of Democratic elect president Joe Biden and Vice-president Kamala Harris. The stars will be performing in the ceremony officially announced by the Presidential Inaugural Committee announced on Thursday.

The Shallow singer Gaga, who has campaigned for Biden during the general election, will perform the national anthem in the ceremony.

American singer JLo, who also endorsed Biden during the elections, will be seen in a musical performance. She has been working as an activist during the coronavirus pandemic.

After the ceremony, Hollywood star Tom Hanks will host a televised special titled Celebrating America. The 90-minute prime-time program will also feature star-studded performances by artists Jon Bon Jovi, Demi Lovato, Justin Timberlake and Ant Clemons. The show will be broadcast live by ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and MSNBC.
