Fans stand by ‘harassed’ YouTuber Jake Paul after mysterious FBI raid leaves internet divided

YouTube sensation Jake Paul has recently found himself in the midst of more legal trouble this year and it appears fans are flocking to his defense to protect him against the ‘harassment’ he is receiving at the hands of local authorities, as well as the FBI.

While the bureau did not release any information regarding the nature of the raid, they later issued a statement that read, “The FBI is investigating allegations of criminal acts surrounding the incident at Scottsdale Fashion Square in May 2020.”

In their statement, the bureau noted that the warrant to carry out this raid was approved in Las Vegas but no arrests were immediately made.

However, given their silence on the matter, fans have taken to cooking up possible scenarios and many believe the raid was conducted, either, as a result of Jake’s ongoing parties or to shake him up because of his most recent misdemeanor charges.

For the unversed, Jake was front and center amid that fall out and was charged with looting, vandalism, unlawful assembly and criminal trespassing.

In order to set the record straight he even took to Twitter to clear the air and said that during that time, he was only trying to find people who would be willing to protest the death of George Floyd and was not involved in any criminal activity as was alleged.

This insurgence and crackdown by the law has begun to smell fishy in the eyes of some of his most loyal fans and thus many are voicing out their opinion against the apparent ‘harassment’ he is being subjugated to.

One user took to Twitter to say, “While I know it is difficult to sympathize with Jake Paul, it appears that the FBI is harassing him because he filmed protests and riots, and so I’m afraid you are required to be on Jake Paul’s side on this one.”

While others bashed the haters openly and said, “y’all hating on him so much lmao. Chill”
