Ellen dubbed a ‘grotesque wealthy celeb’ after public apology video goes viral

Ellen DeGeneres come under fire once her allegedly ‘narcissistic’ apology video went viral. The day time talk show host recently got caught in the churning rumor mill soon after new allegations were brought forward regarding her sexually inappropriate and ‘toxic’ work culture.

The show’s executive producers have also been accused of being inappropriate towards the workers on numerous occasion, one ex-worker, who wished to remain anonymous, claimed that the executive producer asked for a “hand job or perform oral s*x in a bathroom at a company party in 2013.”

In light of the public backlash Ellen broke her silence and told Variety, “On day one of our show, I told everyone in our first meeting that ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ would be a place of happiness — no one would ever raise their voice, and everyone would be treated with respect. Obviously, something changed, and I am disappointed to learn that this has not been the case”.

The apology however, did not seem to go well with social media users because no soon after it went up, users began commenting on her choice of words and the complete lack of ‘tolerance’ The Ellen show has showcased over the years.
