Kate Middleton took her 39th birthday as an opportunity to laude the front line workers
The Duchess of Cambridge turned 39 today. She celebrated her birthday with a special message of appreciation for all the front line, who have been risking their lives amid the COVID-19 global pandemic.
On Saturday, through her official Instagram account - the Kensington Royal she posted a message expressing her gratitude towards the frontline workers.
She posted a picture, in which the Duchess can be seen wearing a floral printed face mask. The caption of the photo read, "Thank you for your kind wishes on The Duchess' birthday. Birthdays have been very different in recent months, and our thoughts continue to be with all those working on the front line at this hugely challenging time.”
Queen Elizabeth also wished the Duchess on her birthday. On the royal family Instagram handle, a picture of the monarch with Catherine at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2019, was posted to wish her on 39th birthday.
“Wishing The Duchess of Cambridge a very happy birthday today!” reads the caption followed by a birthday cake emoticon.
