Many celebrities are urging their fans to vote in the upcoming US election by sharing videos and pictures on Instagram and providing details about the process.

American singer Katy Perry also joined the list as shared two posts recently ahead of the final polling day and urged her 107.7m followers to cast their votes.

The artist asked her followers to check the link she shared in her Instagram bio for more information about voting. In one post, the picture she shared serves as a reminder for Americans that only 14 days are left for the final election.

The singer captioned it: “It's getting real y'all. Election Day is only 2 weeks away.Swipe leftto see all the states that are starting early voting this week! And then check out my stories for a quick refresher of what you need to know, or go to RocktheVote.com."

In another post, she highlighted the fact that in 2016, 79,646 votes made a difference and decided who is and who is not the president. She wrote “YOUR VOTE MATTERS! Vote now or get your voting plan ready. Click the link in my bio to get the info you’ll need #TuesdayTruths."

It has been observed that because of celebrities promoting voter registration, there has been an increase in new registrations, this is why vote.org gave personalized links to the stars.
