Donald Trump has refused to comment on the peaceful transference of power in case he loses the U.S elections
The current president of the US reportedly swatted away an inquiry made by a journalist over his possibility of “winning, losing or having a draw” against his presidential rival Joe Biden and his comments have since sparked a slew of speculations.
During a news conference being held at the White House, Trump simply replied to the inquiry in question by saying, “Well, we'll have to see what happens. You know that."
The speculation arose after Trump showcased his visible doubts regarding postal based voting services and their authenticity. At the time he was reported saying, "I've been complaining very strongly about the ballots. And the ballots are a disaster."
Trump also wants to "Get rid of the ballots, and you'll have a very - you'll have a very peaceful - there won't be a transfer, frankly, there'll be a continuation."
The president’s dislike for the postal ballot system is so deeply rooted that at one point he made a motion to have the elections moved up, given the current global health crisis.
For the unversed, while each president in history has conceded over election results in the past, if Trump refuses to accept the results of this election, there is a high chance that the US will be plunged into uncharted territory, thus making this possible refusal confusing for the bureaucracy.
However, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden believes that in a case such as this, the military might be deployed to have Trump officially removed from the White House.
