Megan Thee Stallion calls out her shooter Tony Lanez of starting a ‘smear campaign’ in new album release

Megan Thee Stallion recently called out her shooter Tony Lanez and accused him of starting a ‘smear campaign’ against her in his new album.

The album in question has already been getting flack for its rude and downright cruel lyrics. Many social media users have even accused the rapper of trying to make money off of Stallion’s trauma.

In one of the songs named Money Over Fallouts, Lanez questions whether Stallion ever got shot in the first place. A verse from his song reads, “But them boys ain't clean enough. I see how they teamin' up, watchin' and I'm calculatin' Gotta keep it quiet, I can't jeopardize the outcome waitin.”

“You are the alleged shooter of Megan Thee Stallion. Instagram, in the pool with Kylie Jenner. Was she backtracking with what she said originally? You know, maybe that's why we don't have a report.”

“Some [expletive] tryna take up for Tory and, ‘It's more to the story,’ [expletive], it ain't-there ain't nothing to the story. Tory Lanez got a lot of bad press. Serious, he's gon’ get deported.”

Shortly after its release, Stallion’s legal team announced plans of hitting back at the rapper. And have even issued a statement to Page Six that reads, “We have been made aware of manipulated text messages and invented email accounts that have been disseminated to the media in a calculated attempt to peddle a false narrative about the events that occurred on July the 12th.”

Shortly thereafter even Lanez’s legal entourage also responded by saying, “The only commentary which has been made on this topic was the creative output on the album. ‘We are investigating who could be sending these false emails and intend to take action against them.”
