Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden embrace parenthood for the second time with the birth of their son Cardinal.
The couple, who exchanged vows in January 2015, announced the happy news via a joint Instagram post on Friday.
"We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden. He is awesome and we are all so happy he is here! For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures- but he's really cute,” the caption read.
It further added, “We are feeling so blessed and grateful! Sending much love from our family to yours. Best wishes and Good Afternoon!”
The surprise reveal garnered outpours of support from family members alike.
Benji’s brother Joel Madden dropped heart emojis while others extended their well-wishes too.
