Taylor Swift accidentally swallows bug onstage during performance

Taylor Swift ‘just swallowed a bug’ during Chicago show

Taylor Swift is having an onstage snack.

On stage, Taylor Swift ingested a bug while performing on the current Eras Tour on Sunday, June 4, at Soldier Field in Chicago. Swift couldn't arrange for this bug to be dinner tonight, but you can plan for changes in the weather and the hour.

When Swift muttered, "I just swallowed a bug," she was midway through her Evermore concert, facing away from the audience and covering her face. She was about to begin the song "Tolerate It" at the time.

She made an unconvincing attempt to brush it off by declaring that she would "be fine." She shook her head, trying to spit the bug out, "It's just so stupid," she remarked.

"Delicious," she said ironically.

"Oh, god," Swift continued as she laughed and gagged. "Is there any chance none of you saw that?"

"This is gonna happen again tonight," Swift predicted. "There’s so many bugs. There’s 1,000 of them."

Taylor Swift's Chicago Tour: There has been other issues too

She also handled a mic issue politely and with a smile earlier in the evening. She attempted to begin "Lover," but due to the issue, nobody could hear her.

Before a stage technician stood next to her to replace her sparkly mic with a standard one, she attempted to adjust and troubleshoot the microphone on her own.

"All right, guys, let’s start this over again. None of that happened … Let’s take a second in our memories, rewind ’em back, none of that happened. We’re back to 36 seconds ago," she joked.
