A former butler close to Prince Harry revealed that the Duke of Sussex went on to change himself a lot more
King Charles’s ex butler came forward to reveal how the monarch’s son Prince Harry "changed" himself for the better since meeting his wife Meghan Markle.
Speaking to Slingo, Grant Harrold stated that the Duke of Sussex has a "very different" outlook in life than his former younger self, which he credited to his marriage to the former Suits alum.
Against the largely negative press the couple received, Harrold praised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their relationship , which he described as "best friends".
"As a couple, Harry and Meghan have become very close. They are best friends who work together as a team," he said.
"Harry has definitely changed from my point of view. The Harry I knew was obviously younger and his outlook was very different back when I spent a lot of time with him and William.
"What he is doing now is obviously very different to how I remember how he was. I think that’s just a part of being older and having a family.
"There are obviously lots of things that have changed his views. A lot of people say it is down to getting married, but who knows? It’s just how life goes."
Regarding his changed view, the Duke of Sussex has remained largely unpopular with the press since distancing himself from the royal family.
He and Meghan went on to have an explosive sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey as well as release other materials that gave an intimate look into the couple's experience as former royals.
The Duke and Duchess went on to release a Netflix documentary titled Harry & Meghan as well as the former writing a tell-all memoir called Spare.
