Skull Island, Netflix series puts out all information Kong’s fans want

Skull Island’s trailer is out, and Kong’s waiting for you in it.

We now have our first look at the eagerly awaited Netflix animated series Skull Island from Legendary Television, which will debut globally on June 22 only on the streaming service. The voice cast, which includes Nicolas Cantu (Dragons Rescue Riders: Heroes of the Sky), Mae Whitman (Family Guy), Darren Barnet (Never Have I Ever), Benjamin Bratt (Poker Face), and Betty Gilpin (Mrs. Davis), has also been revealed by Netflix along with the premiere date.

In Skull Island, a group of brave explorers save Annie (Whitman) from the water without realising that their act of bravery will bring them to the dangerous Skull Island. Strange creatures and dangerous beasts, including the great titan Kong, live in this mysterious location.

Along with Barnet as Mike, Bratt as Cap, and Gilpin as Irene, Cantu voices Charlie, the main character.

Brian Duffield, who also wrote and executive produced the films Cocaine Bear and Love and Monsters, is the creator of Skull Island. Executive producers include Jen Chambers, Thomas Tull, Brad Graeber, Jacob Robinson, and Jen Chambers. Powerhouse Animation, best known for their work on Castlevania and Blood of Zeus, animated the film.
