Dan Reynolds and Aja Volkman announced their separation for the second time in 2022
Dan Reynold’s wife has officially filed for divorce from the singer.
According to the court documents obtained by The Blast, Aja Volkman has demanded the Los Angeles County judge to officially dissolve their marriage following months of separation.
The former couple had been married for 10 years before announcing their separation in September 2022.
Together, they are parents to four children: daughter Arrow, 10, twin daughters Gia and Coco, 5, and son Valentine, 2.
“I am saddened to say that after many beautiful years together Aja and I have separated,” the Imagine Dragons frontman announced via Twitter.
“Being great parents to our children is our number one priority. Thank you for always supporting us with love and care for all these years.”
Although this is not the first time the pair has announced their separation, this one is certainly more permanent.
Back in 2018, the Radioactive singer took to social media to announce the end of their union.
“After 7 beautiful years together, Aja and I’s marriage has come to an end, our children continue to be the most important thing in our lives, & we will continue to co-parent them with all our love,” he wrote at the time.
However, Reynolds and Nico Vega star reconciled a year later, even writing a song together in 2019.
