Adam Lambert, the dynamic vocal performer, is making headlines again with an entertaining performance
Adam Lambert, 41, has made headlines for his rendition of The Muffin Man in Cher’s style.
During an episode of That’s My Jam, Lambert can be seen belting his heart out.
He gave a traditional nursery rhyme a twist of modern pop.
Lambert and Chloe Bailey competed against Simu Liu and Halle Bailey in the competition where each performer was asked to bring a unique twist.
The Wheel of Musical Impressions landed the singer on the rendition of The Muffin Man to the tune of Cher’s classical dance song, Believe.
The concept of the show was to perform a song in the style of any artist.
"Do you have a Cher in you?" Fallon asked.
Imitating Cher comically, Lambert quipped, "I got it, I got it."
He went on to imitate his best impression of the legend, prompting applause and grooving bodies.
The Chandelier singer ended the performance with imaginary hair flips, presumably copying the pizzazz of Cher.
Lambert has shocked and swooned audiences in the past.
In 2018, he performed a more solemn rendition of the pop anthem at the 41st Annual Kennedy Center Honors, where he was invited to honor the guests Cher, Philip Glass, Reba McEntire, and Wayne Shorter.
That’s My Jam has been creating waves because of its melodious and fun structure and notable celebrity guests.
This season has musical icons to the likes of Billy Porter, Darren Criss, Patti LaBelle, and Quinta Brunson, among others.
Episode 6 of That's My Jam season 2 aired on April 17, 2023, at 10 pm ET on NBC.
