Lea Michele canceled her upcoming Broadway's Funny Girl appearance

Lea Michele’s son, Ever, 2, has been hospitalized over a “scary health issue.”

The 36-year-old actress took to Instagram to apologize to her fans for her prospective absence from the upcoming segment of Funny Girl on Broadway.

“I’m so sorry but unfortunately I will be out of funnygirlbway today,” the Glee alum wrote beside a photo of her hand on Ever’s arm.

“We are at the hospital with our son dealing with a scary health issue that I need to be here for,” she continued.

“I’m so sorry,” she wailed. “Please send us some love and strength.”

In an interview with Katherine Schwarzenegger in March 2021, the Broadway star recalled her “very intense,” “very scary” pregnancy with Ever.

She welcomed the 2-year-old with her husband Zandy Reich in August 2020, after tying the knot a year before.

Michele stayed on bedrest her “entire first trimester” after she started “bleeding terribly’ while expecting Ever.

Upon the ultrasound at the 20-week mark, “a lot of potential red flag markers,” could be observed and the actress did not find out “until very late” that her child was healthy.
