Selena Gomez teased she would be releasing new music this year
Hollywood pop sensation Selena Gomez shared details about her upcoming music and said it will be freedom from relationships and darkness.
The Only Murders In The Building star has stolen people's hearts for over a decade now, both as an actress and singer.
While her fans are always eager to see Gomez giving her best on a show, some also patiently yet excitedly wait for a new album.
Her fans now might be in for some exciting news as Gomez spilled the beans about her forthcoming music in a recent interview with Vanity Fair.
"I have been working on some new music for some time now. If it was up to me I would spend all my life writing ballads and I want to make people smile with my music.''
Elaborating further she added, ''My new music will be about real things that I am walking through in life like powerful, strong and very pop, freedom from relationships and darkness."
While Gomez did make her fans happy with her upcoming music announcement, there was a time when she mentioned quitting music too.
In April 2021, Gomez expressed her doubts on making new music.
Her journey to making new music was challenging when no matter what she does her voice and music is never enough for some people and had claimed that she wanted to produce one last album before reportedly maybe retiring.
