Kaz Crossley was detained at Abu Dhabi airport after she was allegedly using drugs
Love Island actress Kazimir Crossley, known as Kaz, faced dire consequences as the Abu Dhabi authorities caught her in suspicion over drug offences as a clip from two years ago resurfaced.
As per The Sun, the 29-year-old diva had been detained in Abu Dhabi by the police officials while making a transit through the airport to Thailand.
The video opened with Kaz bending over to a table, sniffing an unconfirmed white substance during a party.
The rules for drug users in the Emirate are quite harsh. Those guilty of such acts are fined for whopping £5,000 and imprisoned.
Their laws state, "Possession of even the smallest amount of illegal drugs can lead to a minimum three-month prison term or a fine not less than AED 20,000 and not exceeding AED100,000."
Kaz was refused a personal phone call to her family but was allowed to send just one email after being raised as a 'red flag'.
A source close to the star informed, "She messaged one particular friend whose email she could remember and asked her to inform her family that she was OK but had been arrested for drugs offenses. The arrest wasn’t because of anything she had on her. As far as we know it is all down to that video."
