You star Penn Badgley has dished on the series’ potential finale.
Following the premiere of You Season four Part one on Netflix, the 36-year-old sat down for an interview on Happy Sad Confused, where he offered a timeline for when the show might end.
Badgley revealed that he signed a six-year contract with the series creator, and hence, it might end up going on for two more seasons.
However, the Gossip Girl alum stressed that fewer seasons might play a part in maintaining the current quality of the show.
"I signed a six-year contract right out the gate. So they could do two more if they wanted,” he shared.
He continued: “I think if there’s another season, I think it’s only going to be one. I think–this is my understanding, but I don’t know, I really don’t know.’
“But I know that everybody concerned, from the top on down, nobody wants this show to become tired,” Badgley added.
You Season 4 Part 1 is currently streaming on Netflix, while Part 2 is set for premiere next month.
