Chrissy Teigen took to Instagram to share why she decided to skip out on the Grammy Awards 2023
Chrissy Teigen has decided to skip the 2023 Grammy Awards to spend time with her and her husband John Legend’s newborn daughter Esti.
In a post on Instagram, the Cravings author shared how she had a dress fitting for the award show but decided against it at the last minute as she wanted to stay in at home and cuddle with her newborn.
She wrote, "had a dress fitting, looked around and realized … what the hell am I trying to prove here. I cannot get up lol."
However, John, who was nominated for Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, went to the show to perform God Did.
Instead she cheered him on with a photo of last year’s ceremony on her Instagram Story that read, "One year ago," she wrote on her Story.
"Loved this look so much!! Body lookin a liiittle [sic] different today but worth it."
