Beyoncé's Dubai Concert leaked despite ‘No-Phone’ policy

Beyoncé’s efforts were in vain.

Despite a purported prohibition on cellphones and recording devices, videos of Beyoncé's private concert at a five-star resort in Dubai were leaked on social media on Saturday.

According to an invitation Pitchfork got from Beyoncé's crew, the performance—the artist's first since releasing her most recent album "Renaissance" in July 2022—took place at Atlantis The Royal in the United Arab Emirates city. The resort bills itself as "the most ultra-luxury experiential resort in the world" on its website.

The invitation, according to the outlet's story on Friday, was for "an all-expenses-paid luxury weekend" that served as the venue's unofficial debut and included a "once in a lifetime performance."

However, pictures and videos of Beyoncé's incredible performance rapidly spread over social media. A number of her most well-known songs, including "Countdown," "Halo," and "Drunk in Love," were performed by the vocalist.

When Beyoncé sang her 2019 song "Brown Skin Girl," her 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter also joined her on stage.

Some admirers filmed the singer's voice and the pyrotechnics that were sent off throughout the spectacle while others watched it from outside the resort.
