Justin Bieber is angry with H&M for their new merchandise.
The 28-year-old "Baby" singer used his Instagram Story on Monday to denounce new clothing and merchandise from the company that bears his likeness, including, among other things, a sweater dress with a black-and-white image of his face and a canvas bag with various images of him printed on the front.
"I didn't approve any of the merch collection that they put up at H&M… all without my permission and approval," Bieber wrote. "SMH I wouldn't buy it if I were you."
He called the "H&M merch" "crap" in a subsequent post and pleaded with his followers not to buy the products.
"As with all other licensed products and partnerships, H&M followed proper approval procedures", the retailer told PEOPLE.
On his official website, Bieber offers his own line of merchandise for sale, including hoodies, sweatpants, and t-shirts with images of him and lyrics from his most recent album, Justice.
Additionally, he has a unique apparel line that he debuted in 2019 and is named Drew in honor of his middle name.
