Lizzo bagged the People Champion Award for the year
Lizzo looks like the people’s queen in this year’s People’s Choice Awards.
The top performer shone on stage at the 2022 People's Choice Awards while donning an Alexander McQueen gown with vibrant embroidery.
The Grammy winner accessorized the strikingly colored gown with jewelry designed by Pamela Love and Alexis Bittar and brightly colored shoes.
Lizzo had her hair styled by Brett Alan Nelson, who also allowed her to wear it in its natural curls and a fake hawk.
"Fit for a McQueen", she captioned a couple breathtaking photos she posted on Instagram of her entire ensemble.
Her makeup is visible in the close-up photo, including her extra-rosy cheeks and smoked-out winged liner.
According to Billboard, which first reported the news in November, the 34-year-old musician also won this year's People's Champion Award "for her contributions to music and TV, as well as her commitment to championing diversity and inclusion for people of all races, genders, sexualities, and sizes."
