Monty Lopez stirred up controversy when he was caught cheating on Sheri Easterling
Addison Rae’s father Monty Lopez has revealed that he divorced his wife Sheri Easterling "a couple of months ago".
Speaking to Page Six, the 46-year-old said that there was no turning back as their split was finalized.
"Our divorce is finalized. What I can do from here on out, I can move forward," Lopez said in a joint interview with girlfriend Renée Ash.
"In Louisiana, it’s real easy, it’s a lot different. You have to figure, we’ve been separated for over two years now,: he further claims.
"When you go in front of the court system over here and you say, ‘Hey, we’ve been separated for over two years, we’ve been living apart for a year and and a half,’ we’ve done our due diligence.
"There’s nothing else that needs to be done. We go in front of a judge, I sign it, she signs and then we’re on to the next step."
