When a "historically unparalleled" number of people attempted to purchase tickets for the upcoming concert series this week, Ticketmaster suffered significant outages and delays, causing many to leave the experience empty-handed.
Along with his wife Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas—who considers himself a Swiftie—is one of the innumerable admirers who are still vying for tickets to the concert.
"I'll get in line now", he said to Erin Lim Rhodes of The Rundown at the Los Angeles premiere of Devotion on November 15.
Despite claiming that the high demand for the pop star's tickets is "expected," the Jonas Brothers singer thinks that trying to secure some for Sophie as a surprise is a "great idea."
Joe enjoys making impressive gestures for Sophie, after all. The 33-year-old described surprising Sophie—with whom he shares a newborn baby girl and a 2-year-old daughter Willa—by pretending to be out of town as the "most romantic thing" he's ever done for the Game of Thrones actress. He said he showed up "when she least expected it."
"I think I did a good job of that," he shared.
"You play it off like you're somewhere else in the world. You're on FaceTime and hiding on a plane. I've gotten away with that before."
